At ACTIVE FIRST AID TRAINING we believe that learning to provide First Aid should not be a scary or stressful undertaking.  The skills we teach are something which everyone should know, even though we hope our students will never have to use their skills in the "real world".  However, despite our best wishes, there may come a time when one of our students is faced with a First Aid situation and they are forced to fall back on the skills and training we have provided them.  We want them to be calm, collected and as comfortable as possible in this situation, and thereby increase the chance of successful first aid for all involved.

To this end, our courses concentrate less on black and white learning (removing a lot of the boring book study which many courses will require of their students), and instead we prefer to focus our efforts on hands-on training, having our students learn by doing, and giving them the opportunity to work out the best ways for them to remember how to perform the skills they learn.  Oh, and we like to enjoy ourselves whilst we do it too - any time you take a course and learn something new, it should be fun, not a chore!

ACTIVE FIRST AID TRAINING is part of the AAA Scuba Group Pty Ltd.  We provide our Vocational Education & Training (VET) qualifications through our association as a 3rd Party Provider for the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Registered Training Organisation (RTO # 6729).  This allows us to issue National Recognised Training (NRT) certificates, known as Statements of Attainment.
